CENTER FOR COMMUNITIES

BUILDING UP NON-PROFTIS FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT

Many non-profits start with a great vision to meet even greater needs, but themselves lack the training or expertise to become a strong organization. KLF’s CFC program gives them a better start through concentrated learning, activities and consulting that lends expertise in areas as diverse as program capacity, fund raising development, measurement of program outcomes, marketing, strategic planning, and creative partnership development to meet community needs.

To date, over 52 organizations have been helped through CFC, and they in turn have touched the lives of over 219,487 individuals in our five-county greater Knoxville area.

In addition, KLF training has assisted these organizations in raising over $2.2 million from new sources of funding.

“This is a fabulous training and capacity building program. I wish all non-profit ministries could be exposed to what we’re learning. KLF is a fabulous, behind-the-scenes partner in ministry and I couldn’t be more pleased or honored to work with them.”
Hands & Feet Ministries

“Our involvement with KLF has been the spark of energy our agency needed to give our leadership direction…”
Blount County Children’s Home

“In less than a year, we have been transformed from a ‘hip pocket’ operation into a viable, businesslike organization… What we have learned would have taken us years to learn in the College of Hard Knocks.”
